Refund Policy

1. Refund Eligibility

At Du IT Studio, we strive to deliver high-quality services and solutions to meet our clients' needs. In the rare event that our services do not meet the agreed deliverables due to issues directly attributable to Du IT Studio, we will work with the client to address the issue through troubleshooting, support, or alternative solutions.

Refunds may be considered if the issue cannot be resolved after reasonable efforts have been made by Du IT Studio. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the incident and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

2. Refunds for Subscription-Based Services

Subscription-based services offered or managed by Du IT Studio may include, but are not limited to:

- Domain Name Registration and Renewal
- Web Hosting Services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Website Builders and Hosting Platforms (e.g., Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Wordpress)
- E-commerce Platforms (e.g., Shopify, BigCommerce)
- Email Hosting Services (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)
- Marketing and Promotion Subscriptions (e.g., SEO services, social media management)
- Software as a Service (SaaS) (e.g., CRM, project management tools)
- Design and Development Subscriptions (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud)
- API and Data Access Subscriptions (e.g., third-party API services)
- IT Support and Maintenance Plans

For any subscription-based services:

If a customer voluntarily discontinues a subscription-based service before the end of the billing period, no refund will be provided for the remaining unused period.

Cancellation Notice: A 30-day advance notice is required to cancel the subscription.

Refunds: Refunds may be issued upon cancellation; however, the customer will bear any applicable transaction or processing fees.

Fixed-Term Subscriptions: Subscriptions with pre-agreed fixed durations are non-refundable under any circumstances.

3. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are non-refundable once delivered or completed, including but not limited to:

- Customized Software Solutions: Including websites, applications, and software development projects that are tailor-made for clients.
- Consultancy Services: Once consultancy sessions, advice, or strategic planning services have been provided.
- Digital Marketing Campaigns: Including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content creation once the campaign period has started.
- Creative Design Services: Including logo design, UI/UX design, graphic design, and any other visual content creation.
- Training and Workshops: Once the scheduled session has been conducted, no refunds are applicable.
- Technical Support Services: Provided on an hourly or project basis after completion.
- Maintenance and Update Services: Including regular website maintenance, server management, and software updates after service delivery.

Refunds for these services will not be considered under any circumstances unless otherwise specified in the initial service agreement.

4. Third-Party and Force Majeure Exceptions

Refunds are not applicable if the service disruption is caused by third-party providers (e.g., hosting services) or due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, cyber-attacks).

Intermediary Responsibility
Du IT Studio acts solely as an intermediary when purchasing or managing services on behalf of clients through third-party platforms (e.g., domain registration, hosting plans, software licenses). In such cases:Du IT Studio is not responsible for any disruptions or issues caused by the third-party provider.Refund eligibility will strictly follow the terms and conditions of the respective third-party provider.Customers are encouraged to review the third-party refund policy before committing to the purchase.

Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for understanding and agreeing to the terms set forth by the third-party provider. Any disputes or refund requests related to third-party services should be directed to the provider, not to Du IT Studio.Any administrative or handling fees charged by Du IT Studio for arranging such purchases are non-refundable. Refunds are not applicable if the service disruption is caused by third-party providers (e.g., hosting services) or due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, cyber-attacks).

5. International Clients

For clients outside NSW, refund policies may vary according to local laws. Clients are encouraged to check local regulations before requesting refunds. Du IT Studio will make reasonable efforts to accommodate international refund requests where applicable.

6. Service Changes and Upgrades

If a customer upgrades or changes a service during the subscription period, any additional costs incurred are non-refundable. Adjustments to the subscription fee will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. How to Request a Refund

Please contact us at info@du-it-studio.com.au with your invoice and reason for the request. We will review the request within 14 business days and provide feedback.

8. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to engage in mediation before pursuing legal action, in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act 2005 (NSW).
